Supply Chain Specialist
Our Client in Springfield, VA is searching for a Supply Chain Specialist.
The Specialist Performs procurement related functions in support of numerous governmentand commercial contracts on the Consolidated Infrastructure ServicesProgram (CIS) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation and companypolicies and procedures. This includes source identification andrecommendation, issuing various procurement solicitation documents (RFQs,RFPs) proposal evaluation, source selection, contract award post awardadministration, metric reporting. Represents supply chain/procurement onprojects. Interacts with internal and external personnel requiring coordination between organizations.
Required Skills:
Application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards
pertaining to government procurement, including FAR experience.
Knowledge of industry practices.
Competent computer skills
Good communication and analytical skills
Experience in competitive procurement generating various competitive
and non competitive procurement instruments and post award
administration
Knowledge of source selection team activities
Security Clearance: TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
SAP experience
Interpersonal skills
Negotiation experience
Ability to propose, organize and implement process improvements
Knowledge of various electronic procurement tools (i.e. internet
reverse auctions)
Familiar with price/cost analysis, TINA and CAS
Excellent word processing, spread sheet and database skills.
