Swiss Machinist
A medium-sized manufacturing facility located in Lake Zurich, Illinois is seeking to hire a 2nd and 3rd shift CNC Set-Up and Operators. The pay is $15 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
The CNC operator will be setting up and operating Swiss style machinery (Star, Citizen, Hardinge, Tornos).
Candidates must:
- Have experience on a Star, Citizen, Hardinge, or Tornos CNC
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Be able use micrometers, calipers, and drop indicators
- Be able to offset, change, and sharpen tooling
