CNC Programmer/Machinist
A Carol Stream company is looking for an experienced CNC programmer and machinist. This is a very high level position and they ask that candidates have at least 7 years experience in the machining industry. There are a lot of requirements for the position and they are as follows:
- Experience programming Okuma turning centers is required
- Knowledge of OSP5000 and P200 controls
- Machining, not just programming, experience
- Knowledge of CAD CAM, SurfCAM, SmartCAM, etc. is required
- Blueprint and inspection experience
- CMM experience is a plus
This again is a very high level position and will be rewarded as such by paying up to $27 per hour on first shift. The position will also have the opportunity to turn into a supervisory role down the line given good performance.
